2023 AP Exam Registration

Taking the Advanced Placement exams is an important part of all AP courses. NHHS encourages all students who enroll in AP courses to take the AP exams. Scoring well on an AP exam can often earn students college credit for their high school class, saving a significant amount of money on tuition for college. To learn more about the AP program, please visit www.collegeboard.com.
All HCPS schools will be administering the in school paper-and-pencil exams over two weeks in May. If you choose to test, you must register and pay through Total Registration. If you do not plan to test, no action is needed.

PAYMENT
The payment portion in Total Registration will take a few minutes and can be completed from any computer with internet access. NHHS is excited to offer families the convenience of paying exam fees online at the time of registration. Please be sure to have a credit card or debit card available before beginning registration. Checks can also be mailed to Total Registration after a student has registered on-line. Please follow the payment directions on the registration site. Contact your AP coordinator with questions.

Cost
$102 per exam
$40 per exam for FARMS (Free and Reduced Meals)
Students will be prompted to indicate their FARMS status during registration.
Students that cancel any exam after November 15th, 2022 will be charged a $40.00 cancelation fee.
Registration dates:
Registration opens on October 9, 2022 and closes at Midnight on November 9, 2022.
All payments must be complete by the deadline.
Late Registration:
Late testing will incur a $40.00 late fee per Collegeboard. A late testing window will be open from November 16th, 2022 and will close on March 6th, 2023.
Cost to register will be $140.00 per exam. If your student qualifies for Free and Reduced Meals (FARMS), they will be charged $80.00 per exam.
